HP 8710. Connected fine on router. It cannot find web with iPhone 5s hot spot

HP 8710 wireless printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have multiple unknown wIfi connections. Printer appears as a network, but will not connect to web.  I would like to remove everything that is not used.  I am getting instant ink; this requires a connection to HP or the printer will shut down.  I am in the middle of a court case that determines if I will become homeless.

I see from your post you have a concern regarding your HP OfficeJet printer. No worries, I'll be glad to assist you.

 

After reviewing your post thoroughly, I understand you would like to know if you can connect to HP Instant ink using mobile hotspot or different wifi network(public). Unfortunately this might not be a good option as far as the Instant ink connection is considered, it is always preferred to have an active internet connection and the preferred network would be to connect the printer to your home WiFi.

 

With regards to this, I would suggest you run the Wireless setup wizard on the printer, and then connect the printer to your home WiFi network.

 

Once you have the printer connected, you can go ahead and login to your HP instant ink account. 

 

If you are still having issues, I would need to know few details regarding your HP Instant ink account which should help me resolve your issue.
