Since HPSmart was introduced, all my HP connected printers have disappeared.

Is there anything I can do?

Welcome to HP support community.

Provide the printer model number or the product number?

Which operating system is installed on the computer to which this printer is connected?

How are the printer connected?

Reply withe the requested information for more assistance.

Cheers.

So.

We have 15 Printers in different houses in different towns.

All are/were connected to my HPConnected account.

They are mostly connected to the internet via cat6 cable directly into the modem.

I cannot see the printers in the HPSmart account.

Here is an example of 3 of them. This screenshot was taken from HPConnected a while ago, before HPSmart.

This is NOT a problem with either the printers or my computer.

This is ENTIRELY an issue of HPSmart having not migrated my account and the associated printer entries with it.

I understand your initial assumption that it is I that is at fault, but I have been a programmer for nigh on 40 years. This is not my fault, nor that of the printers.

Thank you.Screen Shot 2019-07-31 at 4.46.17 pm.png

This might require one on one interaction to fix this issue.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

I hope that helps.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
