HP TANGO
macOS 10.15 Catalina

Not able to print from my computer or other devices.  When I go into the app. it shows I have a Allignment issue.  When I click on that, I get flagged that the website is not trusted.  Also, I am getting an error message saying that the printer is busy.  I cleared the que so I am skeptical of that error.  I feel like when I want to print something it is going to the hacker and not my printer.

Any help on this would be appreciated.  I have spent hours so far with covering all of the basics....rebooting, changing network pw and so on.

Thanks!

Hi @BITTER3721

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's try a power reset on the printer

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

From HP Smart, use an automated tool to align the ink cartridges.

  1. Open HP Smart, and then select HP Tango or Tango X, if it is not already selected.

  2. Click Printer Settings.

  3. Under Utility, click Print Quality Tools, and then click Align Printheads.

The printer aligns the ink cartridges, and an alignment page prints.

  4. Wait for the alignment page to fully eject from the printer, and then click OK in the app.

  5. Try to print again

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
