I have a photosmart 7520, Add paper, HP recommends colorlok paper. Feeds ok, not printing

HP Recommended
Photosmart 7520
macOS 10.13 High Sierra

When I go to print, the paper will feed through and come out blank at least 2 pages then it stops and a message says out of paper shows up also HP recommends colorlok paper for best results.

  • What type and size of paper are you using?
  • Have you tried printing on a US letter size sheet and check if the issue persists?
  • Which application are you trying to print from?
  • Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word or Webpages and check if the issue persists?

For now, let us try these steps:

 

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest firmware from your MAC.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

 

Make sure the papers are properly loaded in the input tray

Kindly refer to this document to know how to load papers.

 

Check the print settings before printing. Select the correct paper type and paper size.

Refer to this document to know how to change the settings.

 

To resolve an Out of paper error, perform the steps mentioned in this document.
