So When I had the printer it was second hand I remember it being a nightmare to connect to WiFi, and I had a new router installed and I need to reconnect it. My printer doesn’t have a touchscreen just a few buttons, I’ve tried pressing the flashing blue WiFi button and then pressing my routers WPS button but that didn’t work. I’ve tried connecting my phone to the printers WiFi and seeing if my virgin wifi would connect, it sort of worked when I trouble shooter the printer it stated it had recognised my WiFi however it couldn’t connect because of some form of Mac defence? I’m not on a Mac device so I didn’t really understand what that met. I don’t want to be constantly emailing my work to the printer or having to change my WiFi settings every time I want to print something.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's restore the Printer's network settings: Press the Wireless button ( ) and the Cancel button ( ) from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for three seconds.

Once done, connect the Printer to the phone using the HP Smart App: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03561640

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accept as solution" button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
