HP ENVY 5055
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP ENVY 5055, I just set it up last night.  It printed beautifully.  I went to print more this morning and the screen is scramble gray lines.  I looked up what to do and HP Support had me unplug power cord from both printer and wall.  Hit power button for 30 seconds to make sure there was no charge then plug back into the wall, not a surge protector.  I unplugged for at least 5 minutes.  I've done this 3 times but no luck.  What shall I do now?  I love the quality of printing and how easy it was, but its not working in less than 24 hours of setting it up.  BUMMER.  Please help!!

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.

Also, let's try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
