I'm the Riddle_Decipher & I'm writing on behalf of my colleague @Jeet_singh, as the tech is out for the day, that said, I have reviewed your concern and the entire conversation, did some research and here's what I recommend:

 

Have you upgraded the android to the latest version (if available)?

(if not, please do as it should resolve the issue)

 

While you're at it, here's a few other things that you can do next:

 

When done: Click here & install the HP Print Service Plugin and check if that works instead,

Also, the best way to identify or narrow this down to the root cause is by checking with an alternate device:

  • If it doesn't work on an alternate device as well, Upgrade the printer firmware: Click here for details.
  • If it works fine, reset the android on the phone with the issue as its an issue with the Android OS.

I had the same issue ith my Samsung Galaxy Note 5.  When I changed the print quality from automatic to normal or draft it seemed to fix it.
