Product: Officejet Pro 6978
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Output tray on the OfficeJet Pro 6978 only extends occasionally when printing. Most times I have to manually pull it out to catch the printed papers. Is this supposed to be an automatic feature for this printer?

@Ashton5, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

The output tray on the HP Officejet Pro 6978 All-in-One printer does not open automatically.

When you load the paper and try to print or copy, you'll have to manually open the output tray.
