Paper tray hardware problem

Hi I’ve had my hop envy 5055 for almost a year or so now and it’s been awesome, although I ran into a tiny problem that may have made me really sad. I was trying to open my paper tray to put paper in, I forced it just a little bit and my screen keeps telling me that my paper tray isn’t shut even though it looks like it is. Upon further inspection of the paper tray it seems a VERY tiny piece snapped off the part of the paper tray that sticks in on the left side. My grandfather got me this for college and I don’t get to see him a lot so it’s kinda sentimental and he’s getting older😢. My question is I don’t mind replacing the whole tray if I have to, but is there a way to fix this? And if so anything would help thank you. Every time I try to print something it won’t let me because the paper tray is “open”. Is there any way I can return it because I might have a warranty although I’m not sure. I also tried looking for the exact paper tray itself and had no luck.

Check your warranty status online, if it is under warranty find a closest authorised repair centre to get your printer repaired/replaced.

If your printer is out of warranty you will need to get yourself a new tray, search Google or eBay for F0V63-60005
