In one of your previous posts, you have mentioned that you have a touchscreen printer. If now, I will send you the reset instructions for the printer which does not have a touchscreen.
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
- In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
Let me know how this goes.
If you feel my post solved your issue, please click “Accept as Solution”, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!

Please perform the below steps to reset the admin password.
- With the device off, simultaneously depress and hold the Right [→] and [Cancel] buttons.
- Power on the device.
- When you see the message “Permanent storage init.”, release the buttons.

That was another user. I would not say I had a touchscreen when I don’t. Other people who chimed in on my post must have said this and you thought it was me. I do not have a touchscreen.
Thank you for responding, though.

My apologies. I have sent you the reset instructions for your printer in a private message. Kindly check the same.
Let me know how it goes.

I owe you an apology. I did say in a message that I have a touch screen display. I used the wrong term. I do have to touch the screen to use the buttons on it, but it's not like my MFP M130fw, which actually has only a touchscreen and no buttons. I apologize for misdirecting you and thank you for sending the response.
So very sorry... 😣

I'm sorry for the confusion, but I am the originator of this question. They only respond through private message due to the sensitivity of the instructions. You won't find them in the feed. Check your messages to see if they sent you anything. It's the envelope icon at the top right of the screen, to the left of the bell and your logon.
