Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi!  So, I've just got a HP ENVY 5020 today, and I've set it up following the necessary measures.  However, even though it is now connected to my Lenovo Ideapad 320 Laptop through the correct wifi and i can send documents to print, it is only printing Logo's (i am printing through Word) and no text, so the paper is plank apart from this?!  I've since sent something to the printer via my iphone (it was a certificate document) and that came out ok?? Any ideas on why this is happening??

@J9_2000, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

  • Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, or Webpages and check if the issue persists?
  • Try making a standalone copy and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

Use the HP Smart app to print and scan from your Win PC

Click here to download and know more about the app.

If the issue persists, click here to download the HP Full-featured driver.

Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.

Open the word document you want to print > Go to File > Print

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

Click the “Kudos, Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!

Have a great day!
