I seem to have gotten a legitimate PIN reset notice (it looks like one I received from 2015 when I last used the service) but I don't think I have the printer anymore. I just want to know if there is a security risk, and should I try to stop it somehow?

I didn't get to this, sorry. I followed the video but it didn't display any printers. Maybe it's been reappropriated by whoever has it?

Appreciate you trying the steps. I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding this issue. 

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
