The "WIRELESS NETWORK TEST RESULTS" sheet says "The WPA security passphrase configured on your HP printer does not match your wireless router setting. " and gives the solution as: " Run the wireless setup from the printer software to re-enter your wireless network WPA security passphrase."  What is the WPA security passphrase?

I have tried three times to respond to a reply to my original post concerning inability to connect my printer following the replacement of my router  but none of my messages is appearing in the conversation. What am I doing wrong?

I don't have any difficulty in finding the WPA passphrase (Wireless Network Key) but I am not required to enter it. I assumed that this was an item of information which the printer acquired from the computer while the temporary USB connection was in place.

This might require one on one interaction to fix this issue.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

I hope that helps.

I have tried this before on advice from "sandytechy20". When I click on the link, a screen headed "HP Customer Support - Contact" is displayed but it disappears and is re-displayed every few seconds and I don't have time to read or respond to it.
