My HP8600 only prints from desktop, phone, and smart print App but not from laptop. it does not even send documents to the print queue. I have:

deleted and reinstalled the printer

Run the troubleshooter Dr app

disconnected and reconnected the network

Welcome to HP Support Forum. I think you need to remove the queue. For Windows, please try:


  Hold down the Windows key and press R.
  From the Run window, type services.msc and hit enter.
  If the machine asks for Admin you have to accept this,
  Look down to the print spooler service, right click it and select properties
  Click on the Stop button,
  Browse to C:\Windows\System32\Spool\printers or C:\Windows\System\Spool\printers (this may be hidden)
  Delete the job inside this folder
  Reboot the machine

There is nothing there to delete.

I used to print from this laptop and I can still print a test page and I can print from HP Smart printer App, or from any other computer.

I have deleted the printer several times each time rebooting. I have tried updating the driver. Nothing has helped.
