Chrome OS

As of 9/1/16, web services stop working and are no longer supported on HP Photosmart D110a printers.  Does that mean that I cannot use this printer for chromebook cloud printing?

Hello, @WT2, @Grussell2

Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support Forums! I'd like to be of your assistance 🙂

@WT2 - I see that you are worried about the cloud printing. Do not worry, you can still use the Chromebook to print via cloud printing. This service is not affected.

You can add your printer to the cloud print by following the steps listed here: Cloud Print

@Grussell2 - I am afraid that the ePrint feature is one of the affected services. HP ePrint is one of the features of the Web services and this has been retired for your printer series.

As an alternative to the ePrint, you can use the Google cloud printing service to print remotely to the printer. Please check the steps listed here: https://support.google.com/a/answer/9633006?hl=en-en

I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!

Good luck 🙂

I'm not familiar with Chromebook, but my D110a quit printing from email sent to EPrint last night (6/25/2017).
