the paper size detected by the printer sensor does not match Why why why will this new machine print my envelopes i tried different suzes adjust paper and paper sizes etc etc i feel by now i have made a terrible mistake getting this so far CRAP printer only three days and it wont do much atall direct me urgently re above somebody Thanks

Thanks for the update!

 

Try using the HP AiO Remote app to print from your iPad / iPhone. HP AiO is a great app which will help you print from your mobile devices with more ease and also you can change all the settings using the app.

Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums! I read about the printer issue and wanted to stop in to share my suggestions with you.


Going through your post, it looks like you purchased new Envy 5540 printer and is having difficulty while printing different paper sizes and envelopes. I think you need to try and change some of the paper settings to get this machine working fine for you. Also, you can find all the support documents from here: http://hp.care/2bNzS7h



Alternatively, try the below-mentioned link to change the paper settings to print documents and envelopes.

Thnx for message it has done nothing to assist me . Let me exolain again i am using printer not from Pc Mac or Windows i am using it wifi wirelessly frim iphone and ipad and i have tries setting paper settings to all envelope sizes but still the above message keeps coming i am just unable to assertain how to sort the problen..
