Hi @Jameswhite,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
When you enroll for the first time with a new printer, you might be eligible for a trial of HP Instant Ink.
- To claim the trial that came with your printer, you must enroll during the eligibility period:
- Home / Home Office: within 7 days of printer setup.
- Business: within 14 days of printer setup.
- During your trial, you can print up to the trial limit regardless of your plan.
- You can change your plan at any time. If you change your plan during the trial, you are not charged.
- There is currently no trial offer for the Paper Add-on service.
Want to make sure you received your ink or toner trial?
- Sign into your account:
- Home / Home Office: Sign into your Instant Ink account
- Business: Sign into your Instant Ink for Business account
- Click HP Instant Ink, then Overview in the left navigation menu.
- Make sure the printer you are interested in is selected.
- Your free months remaining are under Plan Details. Your free pages remaining during the month are in the Monthly Summary area.

Unfortunately this response did not address the issue. I did register within 7 days of the purchase. The issue is I have been given only two months of free ink trial, which the writing on the product states it includes 4 months of free ink trial. HP needs to update their website to correctly give 4 months of ink to comply with their sale obligations. Please can HP extend my free ink to 4 months.
Kind regards
Jameswhite
