6 month Instant Punk, coming up as 3 months.

Bought a new HP Deskjet 2710e printer as it had an offer for 6 months free instant ink, yet when I signed up it only said 3 months on my account.

Anyone know how to fix this??

Look on the box - does it say (something similar to) "6 months with HP+"?

If yes, then you have to opt (choose / sign up) for HP+ service to be eligible for the extended 6 month Instant Ink offer.

What?

HP+ is NOT Instant Ink - the two are related only in the sense that the Instant Ink Trial period is extended when you opt (choose) HP+ service.

There are other limitations, benefits, responsibilities when you choose HP+ service.

For example, at this writing, HP+:

• HP+ includes an extended (longer) Warranty on your printer
• Requires that you always use HP genuine ink cartridges in the printer - Again, this is not "Instant Ink" - the requirement is that you use HP branded ink
• The printer must be connected to the Internet to allow monitoring by the HP+ Service
• HP+ service includes Concierge Service - with extra setup help and assistance
