So we had a new hp printer and the box advertised 9 months free instant ink, we thought that would be perfect as a business and then gave us 9 months to then prepare to carry on the subscription.

I am assuming it was signed up wrong as I have been charged over £180.00 in charges for pages printed.

I called customer support who were no help for this, if I knew it was charged and not free I would never of signed up for it.

Is there any way to solve this as this is a lot of money to pay out for for something that was advertised as free.

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you have been charged for the instant ink-free instant ink subscription, and I am glad to assist you.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
