Officejet PRO 6960
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have removed a Officejet PRO 6960 printer from one instant ink account and now I need to add it to another instant ink account, but I am not able to print the printer code request (CODICE di RICHIESTA here in Italy) from the printer panel since the instant ink cartridges are no more good because the printer was removed. I think I have to replace the instant ink cartridges with new original cartridges to get that code, or is there a less expensive way to get it?

Hi @elliptical

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the Claim Code issue.

Please try these steps to -

Remove the Web-Services -

1. From the top of the screen, touch or swipe down the tab to open the Dashboard, touch ( HP ePrint ), and then touch (Web Services Settings).
2. Touch Remove Web Services.

Reboot the router and printer.

Enable the Web-Services -

1. From the top of the screen, touch or swipe down the tab to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ).
2. Touch Web Services Setup .
3. Touch Accept to accept the Web Services terms of use and enable Web Services.
4. On the screen that appears, touch OK to allow the printer to automatically check for product updates.

5. If the Printer Update Options screen is displayed, select Install Automatically (Recommended) or Alert When Available.
6. When the printer is connected to the server, the printer prints an information page. Follow the instructions on the information page to finish the setup.

To find the Claim Code, touch HP  ePrint icon. Look for email address on the printer display. The first part of the HP ePrint address preceding "@hpeprint.com" is the claim code. For example, if your HP ePrint email is "abc@hpeprint.com", then "abc" is your claim code.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
