Are you able to share the solution for not being able to connect my printer to hp ink.

I have carried out all the checks that are listed in the original question thread, but I still cannot connect.  My printer suddenly couldn't be found by HP instant ink even though it was connected to the account so I cancelled my subscription as I couldn't resolve the issue.  I am now trying to set it up again but I can't because of the Message code: GCAG001. Please can someone help?

Cancelling the subscription service triggers a number of actions, including locking of the Instant Ink cartridges installed in the printer.

Two options, really - Contact Instant Ink Support or wait here for an agent to find and respond.

What else?

IF the cancellation has not yet fully engaged, you might be able to stop it.
