Cleaned heads repeatedly, test pages come out different but still black is inconsistent.

Is your printer enrolled in HP Instant Ink Program?

May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

Thanks for replying.

Yes, enrolled in the instant ink program.

Used at least 10 pages trying to get the black working.

Went away for the winter, did not use the printer.

Alright, got it fixed. 

Thanks TEJ1602.

Despite repeated head cleanings problem of faded ink  did not clear up even though there was lots of ink in the cartridge.

Although I signed up for instant ink, did not switch out the original cartridges, not sure how long they had been in the machine or the temperatures, humidity they had been exposed to.
