Black ink cartridge from instant ink not working

HP Envy 4520
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We recently changed our ink cartridges for the first time using the instant ink cartridges that were delivered to us. We replaced them all, though the only color that was totally out was blue. Since replacing them, anything black is very fuzzy when printed. Color prints fine.

We've run through every step in this document:

without any improvement. 

We ended up taking out the new black cartridge and putting the old black cartridge back in, and it prints perfectly.

I can't find anywhere how to get a replacement black ink cartridge sent, since the one we were sent appears to be faulty.

 

Any help is appreciated!
