- Black ink cartridge suddenly ran out?

My HP4500 ran out of black ink suddenly yesterday, when I checked my shipping forecast it told me there had been a delay, but I should expect a delivery within 10 business working days. Another update arrive this morning to say my Instantink cartridge was on its way, but as I needed to print some docs urgently today, I ordered an original HP cartridge, albeit the small version from Argos. and installed it. Another message this evening that HP couldn't now track when I next needed a cartridge. Not happy that I didn't receive my automatic one on my subscription, anyone else had this problem?
