My black ink is barely printing, despite levels showing more than half full. I’ve tried all diagnostic measures and have given it time. I can’t replace the cartridge because I have instant ink and it doesn’t recognize my level is low.

1) Does the copy print out the same way?
2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or device?

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
