Hi - My printer does not print black ink. I replaced the cartridge, reset, and even tried cleaning the printerhead. Black seems to print ONLY if I set the print option to a photo paper mode. I am not sure what is going on. Please help.

I appreciate the steps you have performed and have certainly done a good job.

 

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
