I buy ink at Office Depot or Staples.  Black ink was working for last 2 or 3 years then stopped suddenly.  Cartridge was about a month old, but I replaced it with a new one.  Same issue with new cartridge, black does not print but the three colors do print  as normal.  The printer will scan text to PDF.  On two occasions I left printer off for 2-3 days it printed a page or two in black then quit.  And if course I've done all the cleaning, deep cleaning as is always suggested.

 

Would someone send me the solution to the SOLVED BLACK INK DOES NOT PRINT, please

I understand the printer is not printing in black. I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.

 

Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues

Use HP ink cartridges.

 

If the issue persists even after replacing the black ink cartridge with a new one, please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer as I'm afraid the printhead has gone bad and it is not removable on this model printer. 

 

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
