Hi.

I have a instant ink account with my desk key printer. We just moved to another apartment that don’t have a wifi network. I used wifi-direct to print some pages but on my instant ink account , there’s no page counting for those pages.

How do I reset the internet setting of my printer now? Can I connect it to my iPhones’ hotspot?
thanks in advance

@3shining3, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

For HP Instant Ink to work, the printer has to be connected to the Internet. Wifi-direct will not help as it does not provide internet access to the printer and the iOS device.

HP does not recommend the use of Hotspot. It may or may not work.

I Suggest you get a wireless router installed to use the HP Instant Ink service.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
