Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just put my account on pause because I sold my HP 3830 but don't want to lose my instant ink rollover pages. Can the new owner open a new instant ink account to continue using the cartridges?

@RC6416, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

You will have to delete our Instant Ink account associated with this printer and only then the new owner of the printer can enroll the printer with his account. The roll-over pages cannot be transferred to a different account.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Kumar,

I want to keep my rollover pages to use with the next HP that I purchase in a month or so. If that's not possible, please let me know.

In that case, you will have to register the new printer under the same Instant Ink account you are using now. You may transfer the roll-over pages to the new printer. However, for the other user to use your old printer, this printer has to be deleted from your account.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
