Hi @Joe1150,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you have trouble connecting the printer to a wifi network, If your HP printer is unable to connect to your Wi-Fi network, the first steps to troubleshoot are:

Check network details on the printer:

Access the printer's network settings menu to confirm it's trying to connect to the correct Wi-Fi network (SSID) and has the right password.

Signal strength:

Position your printer closer to the router to improve Wi-Fi signal strength.

Restart devices:

Turn off and then restart your printer, computer, and router to clear temporary network issues.

Reconnect to network:

  • Access your printer's wireless setup wizard.
  • Select your home network and enter the password.

Update printer drivers:

Check for and install any available updates for your printer driver on your computer.

Use HP Smart app:

  • Download the HP Smart app on your phone or computer.
  • Add your printer to the app and use it to manage network settings.
