We have owned and used this printer without any problems until now. I want to change the account that pays for the instant ink subscription from my partner to me. My partner has ended his subscription. I have set up an account which is linked to the printer but it won’t allow me to link to Instant Ink. I have tried on the App and on my laptop. If I try to connect manually it asks me to print a network configuration page. The printer “thinks “ it doesn’t have any ink so won’t print. It does have ink!
Any suggestions please?

Hi @Gill173,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It seems like your HP printer is configured to work with HP Instant Ink. I will need a few additional details to help you with this.
I request you to share all the details in a private message.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name.
To understand the issue and help you, please share the details listed below:
• Registered email address and the serial number of the printer.
Note: Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
Change payment information for Home / Home Office
NOTE:
Each subscribed Home / Home Office printer is billed separately.
Direct Debit can be used in some areas. Your financial institution may require you to re-enter your IBAN number periodically, even if your account has the correct number.
Sign into your Instant Ink account.
Click Account in the left menu, then Billing.
Click Change Payment Method to open the Billing details window.
Select a payment method, and then enter all payment information:
Credit/debit cards: enter card number, CVV, and expiration date, even if only the expiration date has changed.
Direct Debit: re-enter your IBAN number, even if it has not changed. Confirm other payment details.
PayPal: follow the on-screen instructions to link your PayPal account. Home / Home Office users cannot use PayPal during initial printer setup, but may switch to it later.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.
