I have a HP envy Photo 7855 printer with the HP instant ink.  I need to buy a new HP printer can my instant ink be transferred?  And how do I do that?

Do you want to have both printers enrolled in Instant Ink, or are you replacing the Envy Photo 7855 with a different printer in the program?  You cannot transfer instant ink cartridges that have been used in one printer to another printer but HP does have a plan for replacing printers in the plan.  Section 6.f of the terms of service indicate:

 

Replacement Printers. You cannot transfer your Instant Ink Service to another printer; provided, however, that You may replace a printer in your Instant Ink Service through the Instant Ink printer replacement process. The Instant Ink printer replacement process may be found on Your Dashboard and/or as you activate your replacement printer.
