thank you for your reply.

My problem has now changed. I have cancelled my instant ink account and it expires on Saturday evening the 26th August.

On the advice from HP I have purchased two cartridges for my Desk jet 2722e and today tried them in my printer. The technician stated that i did not have to wait for my instant ink agreement to run out?

I am now getting a new message that states" USE SET UP CARTRIDGES". I do not have these or any other but the instant ink that will not work?

Any help and clarification would be gratefully received.

Hi @RWB642,

Thanks for writing back. If you have canceled your account and want to use HP regular cartridges,

here's what you need to know & do:

If you have an instant ink cartridge on your printer, remove it and discard that, you can only use regular cartridges on your printer once you cancel the program.

That said, if you have trouble using regular cartridges, I recommend you turn off the web service using the steps from this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04808536

when done successfully, check if it works fine.

Keep me posted for further assistance.
