HP DeskJet 3760 All-in-One Printer

Hello everyone,

I have a Deskjet 3760 that I bought in UK and that I am not able to enroll to the HP Instant Ink plan in Italy.

Before moving from UK to Italy, I contacted the UK support who reassured me that I could have deleted the plan in UK and later enroll in Italy without issues.

So I deleted the plan in UK and now I am trying to subscribe to the one in Italy.

During the subscription of the new plan however, the wizard setup is asking to print a page with a code to use to complete the subscription. The problem is that the Ink cartridges are not working because they have been cancelled in UK and apparently there is no alternative way to get this code.

I have contacted the Italian support and they told me that I need to buy new cartridges, so I can print the page with the code and subscribe to the plan. To be honest, for what is the cost of new cartridges, is almost cheaper to get a new printer.

I am very dissapointed that a company like HP doesn't have a workaround solution to get this sorted and above all that I was wrongly reassured in UK. Basically at the moment I have a not usable printer (unless I do not buy new cartridges).

I hope someone can help me with this on how to get the code without printing it.

Thank you,

Mirko

@_Mirko_, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand your concern. However, the answer you got from the HP Support technician is correct.

Yes, you will have to cancel the Instant Ink account that was registered in the UK, and create a new account in Italy to enroll the printer.

Yes, you will need to buy new ink cartridges to print the claim code as this model printer does not have a touch screen display to display the code.

There is no alternative to this I'm afraid.

You may purchase replacement cartridges and other supplies from the HP Store or local retailers.

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
