HP ENVY 5055 All-in-One Printer

The hpinstantlink server has been unable to synch with my Wi-Fi Envy 5055 printer since Oct of 2022. 5 exhaustive (at least hour long) troubleshooting sessions have not been successful. Web services reset numerous times. The error message “Unable to synch since Oct 2022 has never changed. The troubleshooting has only focused on my home network and printer. The problem is at the hp server level…is there a server team that can look at that server and clear the queue or issue? Ping my printer from the server? Need an advanced tech team…probably real hp employees. Hp collecting my money for the service yet cannot deliver.

If you are having trouble printing with your HP Envy printer and the HP Instant Ink service, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.

 

  • Check your internet connection: Make sure your printer is connected to a stable internet connection. You can also try restarting your router or modem to see if that resolves the issue.
  • Check your printer's firmware: Make sure your printer has the latest firmware updates installed. You can check for updates on your printer's control panel or on the HP website.
  • Restart your printer: Try restarting your printer by turning it off and then back on again. This can sometimes help resolve connectivity issues.
  • Check your Instant Ink subscription status: Make sure your Instant Ink subscription is active and that you have enough ink in your cartridges. You can check your status on the HP Smart app or on the Instant Ink website.
