Envy 5020
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone,

 

So after I had troubles printing with my Envy 5020 via Windows 10 I decide to factory reset the printer. I did it before and I struggled to register but eventually I did it (it was more than a year ago). However this time there seem to be no way of register the printer. Every time I received and error when applying the claim code.

This is very annoying and I'm sure many people are facing this issue. Do you have a solution for this issue ?

Hi,

The only proposed solution was to switch the browser and that didn't work either. There is a serious bug with the service when the printer is restored to factory defaults and you guys need to investigate this (as there are many similar unsolvable user posts). I ended up unsubscribing from the service.

When the printer is reset, the printer email changes and claim code changes that's when the account and printer do not sync.

 

Were you able to re-enroll the printer?
