Cartridge error - won't allow instant ink to ship new cartridge

Hi Folks,

 

I have been using the HP Printer and instant ink program since last one year and everything was great until yesterday all of a sudden I am getting cartridge error for the black ink. 

I have followed all the guidelines of cleaning and reinstalling the cartridge. Firmware was already updated but no luck.

Also just last month my printer's warranty expired I am not sure if it is printer's issue or cartridge's. Do I need to buy a cartridge and verify it myself? Can I get a replacement cartridge via instant ink program? I am not getting any options online.

Please suggest.
