Hi, I purchased an office jet 6950. I purchased some HP replacement cartridges from Viking order service. When I install the cartridges I get an error message saying not recognised. Please can you help I am losing time and money by not being able to print.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the ink cartridge error.

 

Please try these steps - HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge

 

HP recommends that you use genuine HP ink or toner supplies. HP cannot guarantee the quality or reliability of non-HP or refilled cartridges. If you do not use genuine HP cartridges, the steps in this document might not resolve the issue. To check the authenticity of your cartridges, go to the HP anti-counterfeit webpage (in English).
