My printer is telling me to reinstall cartridges or replace. I do not have any spare cartridges

Which ink cartridge shows the error?
You may try installing once ink cartridge at a time and check for the error.
Reset the printer
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
Also, perform step 1 to step 3 from this document.
