I bought a 7120 last year and just set up.  The cartridges that were installed didn't work.  I ordered new ones.  They are larger which i understand is how they should be.  I took off the tags and installed.  They keep popping out and the printer says to check for a jam.  There is no jam I haven't been able to print.  I tried another cartridge same thing.

Hi @angie58

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

  • What is the exact model of the printer you are using?
  • Is it an Envy photo 7120 printer?
  • What number ink cartridges are you using?

This model printer uses HP 64 ink cartridges.

To know how to correctly replace the ink cartridges, kindly refer to this document.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
