I have Hp Photosmart c310a. It worked fine until i got the message that the yellow ink cartridge is missing. I bought a replacement which seams to be original HP cartridge and now I have incompatibility error for the new cartridge. I tried the reset function by pulling the power cord out, cleaning and all advisories on HP website. I cannot do any firmware check cos the printer is completely blocked by the appearing message. Can't get to the menu or anything. Can't even use scanner!

If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
