Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I had my printer off for a while and the black cartridge was clogged. Tried cleaning several times. Finally went out and bought a new cartridge because I had an important document to print that could not wait for a new one to be sent to me. Instant ink detected the store bought cartridge and sent out a new set. Now what do I do with the store bought one once I get the new Instant ink cartridge?

Hi @SLOW9,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I'd like to help!

I understand your concern, you may remove the regular ink cartridge purchased and store it in a zip lock cover or an air-tight container once you receive the instant ink cartridges. However, the page count will still be active even if 1 Instant ink cartridge is installed on the product.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
