I've followed all the step from HP and the virtual assistant to resolve. It wont resolve the error. I need a new color cartridge sent to me. I have an instant ink sub, but I don't know when my next order will come because i can't read the current info due to the error. 

I am able to print fine with ONLY the black cartridge in the printer. With BOTH installed i get the E0 error.

I can't give any more info. the printer throws a E0 error with the color cartridge installed and i cannot print anything. But when i take it out I CAN print with only the black cartridge

Check Cartridge Installation:

  • Make sure the color cartridge is properly installed in the correct slot.
  • Remove and reinsert the color cartridge to ensure it is securely in place.

Check Cartridge Compatibility:

  • Ensure that the color cartridge is compatible with your HP printer model.
  • Check the printer manual or HP's official website for compatible cartridge information.

Inspect for Protective Tape:

  • Ensure that the protective tape or plastic covering on the color cartridge has been removed completely.
  • Sometimes, a remaining protective covering can cause printing issues.

Clean Cartridge Contacts:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Gently clean the electrical contacts on both the color cartridge and the printer with a lint-free cloth.
  • Wait for a few minutes before plugging the printer back in and turning it on.

Update Firmware and Drivers:

  • Check if there are any firmware or driver updates available for your printer on the HP support website.
  • Install the latest updates to ensure compatibility and performance.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, disconnect the power cord, and wait for a few minutes.
  • Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.

Replace Cartridge:

  • If the error persists, try replacing the color cartridge with a new, genuine HP cartridge.
  • Using third-party or refilled cartridges may cause compatibility issues.

As I mentioned in my initial post I tried all of those suggestions prior to asking for help here. I did not try replacing the cartridge because I don't have one. I NEED this color cartridge replaced. But I have no way of getting a cartridge sent to me sooner through my subscription.

 

Please send me a color cartridge so i can continue to print. I have been paying for a subscription for years, and i have no idea when my new set will come because the ink is still good in my current ones, However the color cartridge is now defective and cant be used and needs to be replaced ASAP
