HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer

My printer is showing a blue screen with this error. If I turn the printer back on, it will work for a while (20 minutes to an hour), and then it will get the blue screen again.

I have done a factory reset once, but the problem still happens.

Hi @Jccausey1,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-In-One Printer is displaying a blue screen error, it indicates a system issue that may require further troubleshooting. Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the problem.

  1. Update Firmware/Drivers: Make sure that your printer firmware and drivers are up to date. Visit the official HP website and download the latest firmware and drivers for your printer model. Sometimes, firmware updates can resolve stability issues.

  2. Check for Paper Jams: Ensure there are no paper jams or obstructions in the printer. Even a small piece of paper stuck in the printer can cause issues. Open all doors and remove any visible paper.

  3. Reset the Printer: Since you've already performed a factory reset, you might want to try a simpler reset by turning off the printer, unplugging it from the power source, waiting for a few minutes, and then plugging it back in. This can sometimes clear temporary issues.

  4. Check for Overheating: Overheating can cause electronic components to malfunction. Make sure that the printer is placed in a well-ventilated area and not surrounded by other electronic devices that might contribute to heat buildup.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
