The laptop won’t connect to the printer even though the printer is WiFi connected and usb connected. 
The error message says I don’t have instant ink even though I’m registered. I’m guessing it lost the registration info on restoring.

@Cygnet123, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Did you restore the printer settings to factory defaults?

If yes, then you will have to re-enroll the printer in Instant Ink.

 

Restart web services on the printer

Click here to know how to turn off web services. Refer to this document to know how to turn it on.

Now, using the claim code, enroll the printer in Instant Ink.

 

If you have not changed any settings on the printer, please send me a private message with your Instant Ink account details or you may also respond to the private message I've sent out and I'll help you out, accordingly. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
