Hi @Csilko ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you've canceled your HP Instant Ink subscription but your printer is still expecting Instant Ink cartridges, you might need to reset the printer to use regular cartridges. Here's how you can do it:

  • Turn off the printer: Make sure the printer is turned off properly.
  • Remove the Instant Ink Cartridges: Open the printer cover and remove the Instant Ink cartridges from the printer.
  • Turn on the printer: Turn on the printer without the cartridges installed.
  • Reset the Printer: Once the printer is on, navigate through the menu options on the printer's control panel or screen. Look for options related to resetting or changing ink cartridges. The exact steps may vary depending on your printer model.
  • Follow On-Screen Prompts: The printer may prompt you to confirm that you are using regular ink cartridges instead of Instant Ink cartridges. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm.
  • Install Regular Cartridges: Once the printer is reset, insert your regular ink cartridges into the printer. Make sure they are installed correctly.
  • Test Print: After installing the regular cartridges, try printing a test page to ensure that the printer recognizes the new cartridges and is functioning correctly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
