I've just talked a friend into signing up to Instant Ink having used it myself for a long time with no problems.
She only has an iPad and is successfully printing documents. Now she has signed up her cartridges have been dispatched. Does she need to install the HP Smart app now or will the printer still order them without it. It is on her wireless network?
Your help will be appreciated!

Your friend might wish to install the HP Smart mobile application on her iPad for printing and scanning.
Access to Instant Ink - the service and the various portals - can be done through her Instant Ink account and using the Instant Ink Support link(s).

HP Instant Ink Platinum is a printer subscription program with an all-inclusive monthly payment. This payment includes the printer, 24/7 hardware support, next-business-day replacement warranty, and CarbonNeutral usage certification. The subscription also includes a new printer every two years.
