ENVOY 4520 black print quality poor since installing new cartridge
Printer has been fine for 6 years
Colour printing still perfect, but black print is illegible
On Print Quality Diagnostic
- blocks are grey with horizontal white stripes
- lines are grey
- multiple lines in section 6 (If there is a dark line or white gap at the arrow below..."
I have tried all the troubleshooting steps multiple times to no avail
I subscribe to the Instant Ink service. Problem started when I had to replace black cartridge (which had been in its wrapping for over a year)
Please can HP send me a new black cartridge to try
Any other suggestions welcomed please

The document here has information on contacting HP to get replacement Instant Ink cartridges. Go to the HP Instant Ink site, the phone number (or chat option for some countries) will be listed in the lower center of the opening screen.
Alternately, you can click on the Virtual Assistant. When the assistant opens type "Where is my ink?" (w/o the quotes). The system will ask a few questions and then schedule your shipment.
