ENVY 5020 black ink not printing

Black ink has decided it's not working. Never happened before, however usually printer is powered up permanently and I had turned the printer off for a couple of weeks recently. Changed cartridge (instant ink) - aligned, cleaned head. Installed print and scan doctor - which suggested only issue was I was using wrong printer port? A ream of (blank) paper and a headache four hours later. Please help? Thank you 🙂

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
To better assist you - Are you able to make a black & white color copy?
While you respond to that, please print a Print Quality report -
1) Load the printer with plain white paper.
2) On the printer control panel, swipe left on the display, and then touch Setup .
3) Touch Tools.
4) Swipe up on the display, and then touch Print Quality Report.
You may also try these steps - HP ENVY 5000 Printers - Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues

Thank you for your reply. The black ink is now printing - not that I've actually done anything since my message. I've just printed the Print Quality report and followed the steps to clean and align the cartridges. Print quality is very poor with uneven printing of black ink.
I'm at a loss as to what's happened - this is a new cartridge. Any further suggestions would be welcome......
