Error message - only one set of Instant Ink Ready cartridges can be used in a printer

I just opened my new OfficeJet 5255 and installed the cartridges. I got to the point where it printed the alignment page and told me to scan it, but when I opened the window to place the page on the class, an error message "only one set of Instant Ink Ready cartridges can be used in a printer. Remove and replace with other cartridges". I used the set up cartridges that came with the printer. There is no reference to "trial subscription" on these cartridges; I purchased a subscription when I purchased the printer. I have removed and replaced them, powered on and off, and disconnected from the power source to no avail. Please assist.
Disregard, I solved it by replacing the cartridges again and disconnecting again.
